The Presidency School students encounter the creative and performing arts through three broad disciplines: Music, Visual Art and Drama. Each contributes to their holistic development, including the participation of the mind, body and spirit, along with the use of the mind Presidency school’s aims to provide its pupils adequate opportunities to discover and hone their potential in diverse fields. Students are trained by experts to develop their skills and cope with several categories.
Vocal Music – Vocal Music is a performance class that provides students with a choral ensemble experience. Various styles of music will be studied with an emphasis on music reading and part singing. Vocal music often has a sequence of sustained pitches that rise and fall, creating a melody, but some vocal styles use less distinct pitches Vocal music is probably the oldest form of music, since it does not require any instrument besides the human voice. All musical cultures have some form or type of vocal music.
Instrumental Music – Instrumental music education refers to any musical learning situation in which musical instruments are the primary medium of music making. Specialized instrumental music classes are designed to lead to the development of performing groups such as a concert band or orchestra at the secondary level.music is an effective tool for supporting students in learning beyond reading and writing Famous instrumental music types are Guitar, Drums, Bongo, Congo, Keyboards, mouth organ etc….
