Clubs

A club is an association of people united by a common interest or goal. A service club, for example, exists for voluntary or charitable activities. There are clubs devoted to hobbies and sports, social activities clubs, political and religious clubs, and so forth.

Community outreach ( SEWA) 

The Presidency School encourages all students to empathize with those who are not so fortunate both physically and financially, by lending a helping hand and serving unconditionally. These opportunities help the students to build a sense of responsibility and sensitivity towards the society. More importantly, students can deepen their understanding of individual leadership, systemic change and social responsibility in the context of a local, national and global multi-cultural society.

  1. Theater – The Theater Club is an organization dedicated to giving students more opportunities to learn and grow in the performing arts. We work with the theater department faculty to give members performance and production opportunities such as a Night on Broadway, and a student run play.Theatre club provides theatre training and positive mental relationships to the students throughout each step in their journey of life.It changes students’ perceptions.It allows the children to communicate with a lot of confidence.
  2. Citizenship –  The citizenship club adopts an experiential and interactive approach and enables students to develop key values, life skills, and a commitment towards active citizenship.Students are encouraged to investigate and identify issues in their communities, and find solutions by raising awareness, engaging with local authorities, and starting movements. They also develop democratic values of justice, equality, sustainability, and inclusivity. 
  3. Community service – Community Club is part of ‘civic responsibility’. It’s about doing things because the presidency school wants to give back to our communities or help others. Community club activity is an experiential learning strategy that integrates meaningfully. community service with instruction, participation, learning and community development.
  4. NCC- NCC cadets are given the opportunity to participate in a host of adventure activities including Mountain Treks and Expeditions, Trekking, Parasailing, Sailing, Scuba Diving, Kayaking, Camel safari etc. Adventure based activities enable cadets to hone leadership skills and enhance their character qualities.The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades.
  5. Eco club – Eco club is a platform on which students get knowledge about the environment. The meaning of an eco club in a group who works to contribute to improving environmental conditions. They offer programs and activities to encourage others to reduce pollution, plant trees, and more.Presidency school has an eco-club, which performs activities to save the environment, like planting trees, organizing poster competitions on various environmental issues and Motivate the students to keep their surroundings green and clean by undertaking plantation of trees.
  6. Music Band – The Music Band Club is a way for students to express their creativity through performance, by presenting new songs or music styles to their audience.To let students know about the singing and music spirit, to enhance extracurricular activity in addition to academic skills. To help students retain and enhance their own, individual love of music and singing.The purpose of Music Band is to facilitate music education, provide a practice space for students and coordinate student and non-student performances on and off-campus.The music Band club is a platform for peers to bond over music in terms of performing, collaborating, learning, sharing exploring and creating by studying diversity in music.
