Library
Presidency School has a well equipped air-conditioned and computerized library, with thousands of books, periodicals which are added to continually. The library also provides students and teachers with a range of reference books, encyclopedias, journals and newspapers and internet facilities to enrich their classroom activities and knowledge. Our school library, a treasure trove of knowledge, has state-of-the-art infrastructure to provide students a place to learn, think and share ideas. As knowledge is freely available in the digital world, we have incorporated computer systems in our library along with an internet connection so that a world of knowledge is readily available to students.
Science Labs
We have state-of-the-art Science Labs, one each for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The labs are equipped with audio-visual (AV) facilities to enable students to stay in touch with the latest development in science and technology. At Presidency our labs bring learning to life as students get to explore, experiment and form their own conclusions. We make sure that our students are provided with all facilities required for a practical experience – in Physics, Chemistry and Biology labs. All Modern facilities and equipment, in our school labs play a key role in educational effectiveness of the curriculum by completing their practical.
Mathematics Lab
To encourage students to learn through practice, we have provided our students with fully-equipped mathematics labs. Mathematics is the most interesting subject of all and Presidency school believes in keeping it that way. Learning is made interesting with our play way method and logical inference technique. We also provide audio visual techniques to enable the child to have a better understanding of the subject. Here they can access the study materials for performing different mathematical experiments. In addition to regular assignments, students also play mathematical games like puzzles in the lab area.
Robotics Lab
Integrating robotics into our curriculum fulfills the need of present-day learning environments where our future leaders need to be technologically sound and can enhance their skills including creativity, innovation, cooperation, teamwork and self-confidence. The Robotics Lab in Presidency school is well equipped with the latest electronic gadgets required for designing and implementing a Robotic System. It comprises a variety of processors, motors, controllers and sensors. Through hands-on learning sessions, we aim at strengthening the bottom-line understanding of science, technology, mathematics in a collaborative manner.
Computer Lab
Technology plays a major role in the twenty first century to every walk of life. With a fully-equipped computer lab, we expose students early to computer education. The labs are managed by expert Hardware & Networking professionals. Our highly qualified teachers work diligently to expose the students to the latest technology and make them “tech savvy”. They also help students to search for information, create multimedia presentations, execute project work and creatively present the content that they have gathered after comprehensive search from multiple sources.
Medical Room
Presidency school has a well-equipped and well-furnished medical room, which is accessible during school hours. We have nursing attendants in place for ensuring that all the emergencies are taken care of. We conduct regular awareness programs for assisting students about various aspects of health education (diseases), first aid, healthy habits, diet management and stress management along with sessions of yoga and meditation. In addition to the awareness sessions, routine medical checkups are also conducted every year to keep a check on health issues.
Music Room and Dance Studio
Our Music Room is full with a variety of musical instruments to learn Western and Indian Music either instrumental or vocal. The Dance Studio has sufficient space for smooth performance of students of various forms like classical, western, contemporary, and folk.
Multipurpose Hall
The Multipurpose Hall is used for organizing various activities such as guest lectures and panel discussions, debates and elocutions, quizzes and recitations, workshops and presentations, meetings and orientation programmes, etc.
Outdoor Play Areas
The Pre-Primary section and Primary section have their exclusive outdoor play areas, with age-appropriate, and colorful play equipment, which facilitates the development of motor skills in students.
Sports Facilities
The school has a well-laid, lush green playground, a multipurpose court and an indoor sports complex. These facilities are used for providing coaching to students in various sports and games such as football, athletics, basketball, volleyball, indoor games like table tennis, chess, carrom, etc. Apart from organizing regular Physical Education classes, these facilities are used for providing specialized coaching to students in various sports and games.
School Transport
The school has a well-maintained, dedicated fleet of buses with the required safety measures that include CCTV surveillance, first aid kit, fire extinguishers, seat belts, and communication facility. The bus crew, including bus hostesses, undergo regular training programmes on road safety, safe driving, student safety, first aid, health and hygiene, punctuality, communication skills, etc.
